During this time the baby’s facial development and amount of amniotic fluid aids in visibility. Many patients choose to come in more than once to see their baby at various stages in pregnancy. Early in pregnancy the baby movements make for a thrilling video and it is amazing to see the early development. In the middle of pregnancy, before 24 weeks, the amount of movement is quite entertaining, although the appearance can be somewhat skeletal . Later in pregnancy the facial features are more developed which makes for a unique portrait opportunity .
